Minoan Room reservations will become guaranteed only upon the receipt of your signed confirmation agreement and any required deposit. We will only hold a date or space once we have received a signed confirmation agreement or a deposit.A deposit of 25% of the estimated food and beverage is required at the time of booking an event. A signed contract is due at this time as well. Cancellations must be received at least 30 days before scheduled event or a cancellation charge will be accessed depending upon our “selling” the facility again

Event Timing

All rooms are booked on a time basis. If functions go over projected time, an additional fee may be incurred. All groups are subject to room change in accordance with larger or smaller bookings that may coincide with your booking. We reserve the right to reassign meeting locations to a room suitable to the number in attendance. We ask that all functions finish by midnight unless prior arrangements are made. Menu selections, room set-up requirements and all other arrangements must be received no later than 7 days prior to function.

Food & Beverage Guidelines / Guaranteed Attendance

A guaranteed number of attendees to all food and beverage events will be needed no later than 48 hours prior to a scheduled event. If this count is not received, you will be held accountable for the original number on the contract. We will only prepare 10% more product than required for each event. If more people attend, we will make a concerted effort to accommodate everyone, however we may not be able to duplicate the original menu and substitutions will be made. All guests are to remain within the confines on the Minoan Room and are not permitted access to our other dining facilities within the building.

A 17% service charge will be added to all food and beverage items.

Additional labor charges for alcoholic beverage service may be required if bar minimums are not met. Additional minimums or charges will be added if you would like the bars to stay open longer than the agreed time.

All catering charges will be on a cash or credit card basis upon completion of the event unless prior direct billing arrangements have been made and approved. Direct billing terms: Payable upon receipt of invoice, net cash.

According to state regulations, we are obligated to ask for identification. If identification is not with the person we will not serve them. We will also refuse service to any guest who is visibly intoxicated. No alcohol is to be brought in or out of the Minoan Room.

Regulations prohibit us from allowing any food or beverage to be brought in or taken off the premises. The Minoan Room is a non-smoking facility, however a smoking area is provided.

Security in the Minoan Room is the responsibility of the group. Greek Cusina will not be held responsible for merchandise or articles left in the Minoan Room. Due to the nature of some events, guests will be required to have security and will incur the cost.

Any damage done to the Minoan Room is the responsibility of the guest.

With prior notice, we will be happy to receive and store your conference materials at no charge if received less than one week prior to the function. Shipments should be addressed to the General Manager and must include names and dates of the conference. These items will be delivered to the Minoan Room at the proper time.

Beverage and Bar Information

The Minoan Room is managed by the Greek Cusina and uses the Greek Cusina Catering Liquor License. All servers employed by the Greek Cusina are required to have an OLCC server permit. The Greek Cusina reserves the right to refuse service to any person who is visibly intoxicated, a minor or a person with out proper identification. Greek Cusina personnel must provide all alcoholic beverages. At the Greek Cusina we want you and your guests to have a safe and enjoyable event.

No-Host Bar

Your guest will purchase their own alcoholic beverages from our wait staff or bartenders. You may choose to have a portion or the entire bar services provided on a no host basis. Guests will be required to pay for no-host beverages by cash. If a guest would like to open a tab with the bartender, a credit card will be run before approval to establish a credit limit.

Hosted Bar

You may choose to host a portion of the bar or the total bar. Pre paid charges are based per person. Your final cost will be based on the actual consumption plus gratuities with the pre paid amount adjusted. Any balance due should be payable to the Greek Cusina. Any refunds will be applied toward your total event bill.

Hosted Scrip Pricing

Scrip is used to monitor the total number of drinks hosted and is prepaid and non refundable. The manager will issue scrip to the contact person for the event. Prices for the amount that scrip is worth will be quoted for the group.
